Overview
Beacon MFP is organized hierarchically with Organizations, Corporations and Pharmacies. Organizations are created by registered users to group together individual Corporations. Corporations equate to either a logical grouping of pharmacy locations in NCPDP based on the Relationship ID or an individual pharmacy location if that location does not have a Relationship ID. Pharmacies are all individual pharmacy locations associated with a Relationship ID in NCPDP or the single pharmacy location in the event there is no Relationship ID.
How to Select a Corporation During Registration
During registration, authorized administrators will select their corporation from the Entity dropdown. Authorized administrators may select one or multiple corporations.
How to View Organizations in Beacon MFP
Once registration is approved and finalized, the corporations will appear in the administrator's Beacon MFP account. From there, corporations can be moved across organizations.
Navigate to the Organizations module from the left menu.
Your corporations will automatically appear in an organization. Use the pen, to rename the organization.
Use the Actions to move corporations from one organization to another.
Click Add Organization if you wish to create additional organizations to organize your registered corporations.
How to Register Additional Corporations
Registered Beacon MFP users can register additional corporations from within their Beacon MFP account.
From the Organizations module, click Add Corporations on the right side of your screen.
The steps will feel familiar to the original registration flow.
Pending registrations (those not yet approved by Beacon Support) will be listed under Pending.
Good to Know
The authorized administrator who registers and enrolls the corporation is automatically made a administrator on the corporation's Beacon MFP account.
Users may invite and register additional corporations from within their Beacon MFP account, but they will be required to complete the necessary steps for registration. Upon approval, the user will be an administrator on that corporation.
An administrator may group corporations under the same organization only if they are an administrator on both corporations.
