In Beacon MFP, Admin users can designate pharmacies as 340B-Only (clean sites), meaning the pharmacy exclusively processes 340B claims. When a pharmacy is designated as 340B-Only, all rebates submitted under that pharmacy (at the NPI level) are automatically recognized as 340B and priced at zero dollars.
Before You Begin
The dispensing entity must be registered in Beacon MFP
You must have Admin permissions
Designating a Pharmacy as 340B-Only
Navigate to the Organizations module.
Select the organization associated with the corporation that contains the pharmacy you want to designate.
Click Designate 340B-Only Site.
Click Start Designating.
Select one or more pharmacies to designate as 340B-Only.
Click Review.
Confirm your selections, then click Save.
Once saved, the selected pharmacies are immediately designated as 340B-Only and are identified by a 340B-Only badge on the pharmacy record.
Tip: To remove a pharmacy’s 340B-Only designation, follow the same steps and select the designated site to disable its 340B status.
All rebates submitted under these pharmacies (at the NPI level) are automatically recognized as 340B, indicated by a P10 code, and the Validated Amount is priced at zero. This is reflected on all associated rebates, whether accessed through Rebate Details or by searching the ICN. Rebates submitted under the same NPI prior to the designation remain unchanged and must be individually self-identified as 340B, if applicable.
