Beacon MFP enables users to self-identify an MFP rebate request as 340B. 340B self-identification occurs on an individual ICN and can be performed in the Rebate Details of a rebate.
Before You Begin
The rebate must have a processing state of Approved and not already been identified as 340B before you may self-identify the MFP rebate request as 340B.
Identifying a Rebate as 340B
Navigate to the Rebates module from the left-hand navigation menu.
Locate the rebate you want to review using the rebates list view. You can filter or search by ICN, product, processing state, or other available fields.
Click the rebate row, then click View Details to open the rebate details view.
In the Rebate Details view, click Identify as 340B to self-identify the rebate. This option appears only after the rebate has reached the Approved processing state and has not already been identified as 340B.
Click Confirm. Once confirmed, the 340B determination status of the rebate is final.
After you identify a claim as 340B, the adjustment can take up to three weeks to complete. Note if an MFP rebate has already been paid, your account will be credited to reflect the subsequent reversal. The adjustment will appear as a new ICN in Beacon MFP that you will be able to tie back to the original ICN where the 340B self-identification occurred.
