How to Find a Rebate Using an Internal Control Number (ICN)

Learn how to search and find a rebate using the ICN in Beacon MFP

Updated over a month ago

The Internal Control Number (ICN) is a unique identifier generated in the MTF that links to an individual rebate in MFP. Use the ICN to quickly locate a specific rebate in Beacon MFP, review its history, and take action from anywhere in Beacon MFP using the search function.

Before You Begin

  • You must have the ICN for the rebate(s) you want to locate

  • The rebate must exist in Beacon Rebate Model

Searching for a Rebate by ICN

  1. Open the global search bar, located in the upper-right corner.

  2. Type or paste the rebate ICN into the search bar.

  3. Select the rebate from the search results to open rebate details.

In the rebate details, you can access a high-level overview of the rebate along with a detailed rebate history, including processing statuses, prices, and a list of all past and current GFIs. You can use the ICN to link the rebate in MFP to your internal records, which include additional internal identifiers not stored in MFP, such as an Rx Number.
