Rebates Overview

Learn about the Rebates module and how to use it to access rebate information in Beacon MFP

The Rebates module provides a centralized view of all rebates associated with the dispensing entities a user is registered with in Beacon MFP. It allows you to quickly review rebate activity, monitor processing states, and access detailed rebate information for investigation, reconciliation, and general inquiry.

Use the Rebates module as the primary entry point for reviewing rebate statuses and navigating to detail rebate records.

Rebate List View

Rebates displays a list of all rebates associated with the dispensing entities a user is registered with. Each row represents a single rebate, identified by its Internal Control Number (ICN), and surfaces key information to help support rebate review and monitoring at a glance.

In this view, you can filter and scan rebate activity across entities using fields such as ICN, Processing State, NPI, and NDC to reliably identify rebates that may require closer review, reconciliation, or inquiry.

Learn: Processing states shown in the list view indicate where each rebate is in its lifecycle. For definitions of each processing state and how they relate to rebate outcomes, see Rebate Processing States.

Rebate Information Quick View

Selecting a rebate row opens the Rebate Information quick view on the right side of the screen. This panel displays additional context for the selected rebate without leaving the Rebates module and includes Pharmacy Details, an Issues list of active validation and pricing codes, and Rebate Information, including pricing inputs and dispense details such as Wholesale Acquisition Cost (WAC), Maximum Fair Price (MFP), and Standard Default Rebate Amount (SDRA).

This view supports quick investigation and review while staying in the Rebates module for easy navigation between rebates.

Learn: For a complete view of a rebate’s life over the course of the rebate lifecycle, including pricing decisions, manufacturer notices and responses, inquiry information, and a full rebate history, click View Details. For more information, check out Rebate Details Overview.

Exporting Rebate Data

  2. Apply any additional filters (such as ICN, NPI, NDC, or Processing State) to refine the rebate list.

  3. Confirm the list reflects the expected data based on your selected date range and filters.

  4. Click Export above the list of rebates.

  5. Follow the on-screen prompts start the export.

  6. Navigate to the Exports within the Activities module.

  7. Download the .csv file.
