Resolution Center Overview (GFIs)

The Resolution Center provides dispensing entities a centralized view in which to manage Good Faith Inquiries (GFIs) in Beacon MFP and supports in-app communication with Beacon Support and pharmaceutical manufacturers throughout the resolution process.

Use the Resolution Center to open GFIs, track inquiry statuses and validation and pricing outcomes, and engage directly with parties involved in review and resolution.


Viewing and Managing GFIs

The Resolution Center displays a list of all inquiries associated with your account. You can sort and filter this list to quickly locate specific inquiries. Using the search bar and filters you can search for open or closed inquiries by product, status, and inquiry category. Selecting an inquiry opens its detailed view, where all related information and communications are available.

Inquiry Statuses

GFIs are assigned statuses to identify the state of the resolution process in which it currently resides. The five statuses that a GFI can be assigned are:

  • Pending – The inquiry has been submitted and is awaiting initial review.

  • Escalated – The inquiry has been escalated for further review by the manufacturer.

  • In Progress – The inquiry is actively being reviewed.

  • Approved – The inquiry has been approved, and any resulting rebate adjustments are being processed.

  • Denied – The inquiry has been reviewed and no changes were made to the rebate outcome.

These statuses update as the inquiry progresses, giving you visibility where it stands in the resolution process at any given time.


Opening a Good Faith Inquiry (GFI)

Beacon MFP enables dispensing entities to work in good faith with manufacturers to resolve an inquiry related to an MFP refund request. Beacon MFP's GFI Wizard enables dispensing entities to open a GFI on the applicable ICN directly from their Beacon MFP account.

Opening a new inquiry creates a dedicated record tied to a specific rebate and provides a centralized space for review, Support and manufacturer communication, and resolution.

Once created, new inquiries appear alongside existing inquiries in the list of inquiries and will be in the Pending status until initial review.

Engaging on an Inquiry

Each inquiry includes a built-in messaging thread that allows you to communicate directly with Beacon Support and pharmaceutical manufacturers. Use the in-app messenger to follow-up and ensure all discussion related to a specific inquiry remains tied to the rebate and inquiry record.
